East Boston

East Boston reminds me of Brooklyn. A working class, immigrant, island-neighborhood, bursting with Italian and Latino restaurants that outperform most on the mainland. It also has a string of parks connected by running and bike paths for miles. It’s completely surrounded by water with jaw dropping views of Boston’s skyline. It’s an infrastructure Mecca - one stop from downtown along the Blue Line, connected to all highways, and you can actually walk to the airport. The neighborhood has now been “discovered” with exciting real estate opportunities, but it’s integrity as a great American melting pot urban neighborhood prevails.
