What I love about Brookline is that you have trees and parks within walking distance of downtown Boston. You’re able to escape the city and enjoy a great neighborhood feel, outdoor activities, and a thriving restaurant scene just two miles west of Boston.

Chestnut Hill is more than just a pass-through for its neighboring towns. It may not have the hard-scrapple history or melting-pot constituency of some other Boston neighborhoods, but it does have the makings of a quintessential New England town: a good percentage of its residents are students, its houses and schools feature century-old architecture, and there’s lots of green space, whether it’s surrounding a reservoir or intersecting the town’s woodlands. We’ve got our country clubs and shopping centers, but there’s also a sense of exploration among the people of Chestnut Hill— a desire to get outside, pound the pavement, and explore our corner of the city.
